Episode 102 of Voices of Revival from last week with Overseer Timothy Caldwell.

In Episode 102, we sat down once again with Overseer Timothy Caldwell for a raw, honest conversation about radical obedience and trust when God calls us to do what makes no sense in the natural. Timothy shares how he gave away an entire thriving church — not because it was failing, but because God said so — and how that surrender birthed new vision and a fresh move of God in Pittsburgh.

This episode is a reminder that true kingdom fruit often comes through the uncomfortable path. When we obey, even when it breaks us, God proves Himself faithful. Be challenged to ask yourself: What is God asking you to release so He can do more than you can see?

Powerful Quotes from Episode 102

1️⃣ “Sight often conflicts with what God has said — and when sight conflicts with what God has said, the thing you see is wrong. I choose to agree with the Lord.”

2️⃣ “When God speaks, make sure that it’s God and not you — because He will never lead you wrong. And when He says do it, just do it.”

3️⃣ “I can’t be Moses. I can’t stand on the outside looking in at the promise. If God said it, I must believe Him enough to step in and experience it.”

This week on Voices of Revival

Monday night we are joined by Pastor David Pinter at 9 PM EST. Pastor David is based out of Connersville, Indiana, and has been featured on various episodes of Voices of Revival in the past — often as part of panels. This will be his first time on the podcast in a one-on-one setting.

Pastor David is a devoted student of the Word and an exceptional teacher of the gospel. He may well be the most brilliant mind we’ve had on the cast when it comes to sheer knowledge of Scripture.

At the beginning of July, we launched a 31-day teaching series on the topic of prayer — born from a deep burden to see real prayer restored in our lives. Throughout the first week, we’ve focused on shifting our understanding of prayer from a mere list of petitions to God into authentic conversation with Him. Many people have knowledge about God and do works for God — but do you truly know Him? Prayer moves us from knowledge into relationship.

As we move into the second week, we’re shifting focus again. In today’s session, we’re looking at some of Jesus’ teachings on prayer, and tomorrow we’ll dive into His personal prayer life. From there, we’ll continue to go deeper into this vital subject throughout the rest of the month.

Launch of Weekly Discipleship Calls on Tuesdays

Much of what we do under this umbrella of ministry efforts is very public. This Tuesday, however, we are launching a new endeavor: a weekly discipleship call. Unlike our other efforts, these calls will not carry the same level of publicity — in fact, very little of this work will be shared openly.

Through this initiative, we are aiming to pour into young, next-generation leaders. We currently have 20 high school–aged young men lined up to join the first call Tuesday night, along with a group of local leaders who have expressed a willingness to work together in this effort. As I weigh the importance of all the projects that are active or in the pipeline, I truly believe this may be among the most important of them all. I ask everyone reading this to please take time to cover this endeavor in prayer before the Father.

The Word of the Lord: Unity

The word of the Lord right now is truly unity.

I have heard this call for years, but in this season, I believe division is not an option for the body of Christ.

We see division. We see hate. We see confusion running wild in the world—and I truly believe this is the devil showing his hand.

I firmly believe that unity is God’s answer to this obvious ploy of the enemy.

Who else but the Church is called to model the way forward—moving together as one body, putting aside petty differences, and seeking first the kingdom of God in one accord?

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Romans 12:2 ESV

Division is a pattern of the world that we cannot conform to. We must renew our minds so we can clearly see the will of God.

During this time, we need to:

Come together in unity under the name of Jesus.

Pray together boldly to see change in our cities, states, and nation—not from a place of hate but from a place of desiring God’s will to be revealed.

Worship together.

We serve one God, and He is the only one worthy of our praise. He is worthy of worship from a unified Bride; we should not come to Him as a divided one.

Preach the gospel together.

Scripture says the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. We cannot afford to divide the laborers when there is so much to be done.

“Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.’”

Matthew 9:37–38 ESV

I believe that if we pursue unity as the body, we will see many saved. We will see countless people come to know the Lord. We will see leaders rise up in this next generation—not hindered by the resources and knowledge of one church, but supported by the full strength of the body of Christ.

I believe where there is unity, there will be a blessing.

“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard,on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.”

Psalm 133:1–3 ESV

August Preview

Looking ahead to August: on Friday, August 8th, we will host our third NKountr event at the Kingdom Sports Center in Franklin, Ohio. These NKountr events are youth rallies designed to gather students and young adults for a night of worship, connection, and community. Doors will be open from 7 PM to 1 AM. We are actively finalizing details and hope to release promo material for the event this week. The night will kick off with a service at 7 PM targeting youth and young adults, followed by a night of sports and games. We would love to see you there!

Additionally, details are still coming together, but it appears we have an open door with a church in Miamisburg to host a weekend rally/discipleship intensive the final weekend of August. Please be in prayer with us as this takes shape.
