EPISODE 106 — “Charismata Through the Ages” with Matt Wilson

In this eye-opening episode, Bradley is joined once again by Matt Wilson for a deep dive into the historical continuity of the gifts of the Spirit—often referred to as the charismata. Together, they unpack centuries of evidence from early Church fathers like Ignatius, Justin Martyr, and Irenaeus to medieval figures like Gregory the Great and Hildegard of Bingen. They challenge the commonly repeated cessationist narrative that spiritual gifts disappeared after the apostles, walking listeners through compelling historical documents that prove otherwise. From the patristic era to the Reformation and even beyond, this episode is a scholarly yet passionate defense of Pentecostal doctrine grounded in church history.

More than a theology lesson, this conversation is a call to action. Bradley and Matt emphasize the importance of not blindly accepting inherited beliefs but instead doing the work of spiritual and historical discovery. They celebrate how the Holy Spirit has always equipped believers—not just clergy—with supernatural gifts for the edification of the Church. Listeners are urged to honor those who came before by walking in the fullness of what God offers today. If you’ve ever questioned whether the gifts are for now—or for you—this episode will challenge your assumptions, stir your faith, and awaken your hunger.

Top 5 Quotes from Episode 106:

  1. "The only time the gifts aren’t normative is when the Church itself begins calling them heretical—not when God stopped giving them."

  2. "Ignatius lived within ten years of John the Beloved’s death and was already urging believers to abound in the gifts."

  3. "We have more access to truth than any generation before us—ignorance today is often just laziness in disguise."

  4. "Just because your church hasn’t experienced the gifts doesn’t mean the church down the street is in error for walking in them."

  5. "In the Old Testament, they rejected the Father. In the New, they rejected the Son. In our age, they reject the Holy Spirit."

EPISODE 107 — “This Is Only the Beginning” with Pastor TJ McDaniel

In Episode 107, Pastor TJ McDaniel of Rescue Shop Church returns to Voices of Revival with a powerful testimony of what God is doing in his community—and it’s nothing short of revival. With over 190 baptisms in under two years and another 30 already signed up for the next service, TJ shares how a simple yes to God has led to a move of the Spirit that no man can orchestrate. This isn’t hype or emotion; it’s repentance, transformation, and the tangible power of God. Bradley and TJ reflect on how churches must be prepared to steward the harvest—not just for numbers, but for true discipleship that multiplies.

The conversation goes beyond celebration to explore deep truths about identity, comparison, humility, and stewarding revival. TJ vulnerably shares his early struggle to find his voice in ministry, how godly correction shaped his growth, and why the church must break free from comfort, pride, and lukewarmness. As revival increases, so does the responsibility to walk in holiness, preach the truth in love, and contend in prayer for our communities. This episode is a passionate call to action and a reminder: we haven’t even seen the beginning of what God is about to do.

Top 5 Quotes from Episode 107:

  1. "I don’t want another person to ever become just a number. I want converts to become disciples."

  2. "We’ve made comfy church an idol—God never called us to safety, He called us to obedience."

  3. "If the state of the world doesn’t grieve your heart, something’s wrong."

  4. "Your ministry is never meant to look like someone else’s. Stop walking in someone else’s anointing."

  5. "The harvest is already won—we’re just claiming the spoils and turning the territory into the image of the kingdom."

Tonight at 9 PM (ET) — Voices of Revival Episode 108

We’re going live at 9 PM with a special one-on-one conversation featuring Ian Francis. Ian is a young leader whose life has been radically transformed by God, and you may remember him from a past panel episode. Tonight he joins us for a focused interview to share what the Lord is doing in and through him right now.

Looking Ahead: NKountr Youth Rally – This Friday

During the episode we’ll preview this weekend’s NKountr event—our third youth rally at Kingdom Sports Center in Franklin, Ohio. The night pairs a youth service with open-court sports, and momentum is building: I have heard from over a dozen churches that will be represented during the night, with one even coming from out of state. Years ago, a similar rally at this very venue marked my own life; my prayer remains the same: “Do it again, Lord—change lives forever.”

How You Can Pray

  • Ian as he brings the Word
    Fresh anointing, clarity, and boldness.

  • Every youth group represented
Radical encounters with Jesus and lasting unity across congregations.

  • Unreached teens
That students who don’t yet know Christ will be drawn in droves and respond to the gospel.

  • Safety throughout the night
Protection over travel, worship, and sports activities.

  • An outpouring of the Holy Spirit
Salvations, healings, and deeper hunger for God in our region.

Thank you for standing with us—your prayers are paving the way for the next wave of revival.

Tuesday Discipleship Group Summary

Every Tuesday night, a group of young men from across multiple states and churches gathers on Zoom for a private discipleship call focused on developing the next generation of leaders. This week’s conversation centered around one key question: How do you know the will of God? What unfolded was a rich dialogue rooted in Scripture, spiritual experience, and practical obedience. The group opened by acknowledging how God speaks through the Holy Spirit, through Scripture, and through godly discernment. Participants shared personal insights on how they sense the Lord’s leading—sometimes as a feeling, sometimes through scripture rising up in their heart, and sometimes through conviction and clarity birthed in prayer.

Brad and Kenan provided strong theological framing, linking the discussion to Acts 1 and John 14–16. They emphasized that the voice of the Lord is not complicated—He speaks to His sheep, and His sheep know His voice. The key is being grounded in the Word, remaining sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and being willing to act in faith. Through discussion and example, the group was reminded that God often speaks more clearly than we realize—we just have to slow down and listen. The conversation ended with powerful encouragement that we’re not waiting to be qualified—we are already called, and the Spirit of God lives in us to lead us every step of the way.

Top 5 Quotes from the Night

  1. “The voice of the Lord is not complicated. His sheep know His voice—no conditions, no qualifications.”

  2. “You’re not waiting for a relationship with God—you’re living from one. He already lives in you.”

  3. “Don’t wait twenty years for God to speak when He already said ‘Go.’”

  4. “Take the Word, take the Spirit, and take a step—God leads those who move in faith.”

  5. “If the Spirit of God is in you, then the voice of God is in you. You probably hear Him more than you think—you just haven’t recognized it yet.”

"I Never Knew You"—31-Part Prayer Series Complete

Our 31-part teaching series "I Never Knew You" is now complete. At the heart of this journey was a call to shift how we view prayer. Too often, prayer is reduced to a list of requests—things we ask God to do. But prayer is far more than that. It's meant to be a conversation, communion with God. True prayer moves us from simply knowing about God to actually knowing Him.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

This week’s word is a little shorter, but I pray it stirs your heart and strengthens your faith.

As I was praying, I heard the Lord say:

“Don’t be ashamed to be My sons and daughters and don’t be ashamed of the Gospel!”

“But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.”

John 1:12 (ESV)

This verse reminds us that our identity as sons and daughters of God is not earned but received through believing in Jesus. What an incredible truth, and one that we should never hide or take lightly. Our position in Christ is not only a privilege but a call to live boldly and joyfully for Him.

The Good News Is Good News

Let us not forget that the Gospel is not just a message. It is the best news we could ever receive.

As sons and daughters of God, we have been given

 • Forgiveness of sins

 • Eternal life in heaven

 • The indwelling of the Holy Spirit

 • A reconciled relationship with our Father in heaven

These are not small things. They are life-altering, eternity-defining gifts. Because of all we have gained in Christ, our hearts should overflow with joy, gratitude, and passion to share this Good News with others.

You Are Sent as His Ambassadors

With such a powerful message entrusted to us, we must understand our role. We haven’t just been saved; we have been sent.

The same Jesus who conquered sin and death has called us to represent Him in the world. We are now His ambassadors, His hands and feet, commissioned to carry the message of reconciliation to a hurting and broken world.

“All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.”

2 Corinthians 5:18–19 (ESV)

Knowing this, we can no longer live as we once did. Our old ways, our fear, and our hesitation must fall away. We have been given a new identity and a new mission, and it is time to walk in it with confidence and conviction.

Let Your Light Shine

Living in this truth means allowing the light of Christ within us to shine publicly and powerfully.

Jesus didn’t save us so we could remain hidden. He lit our lamps so we could illuminate the darkness around us, so that others might see His goodness and glorify Him through our lives.

“Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

Matthew 5:15–16 (ESV)

This is not about performance. It is about presence. It is about showing up in the world as children of light, living in such a way that reflects the love, power, and truth of our Heavenly Father.

In Closing

As sons and daughters of God, we have so much to be thankful for. Through Christ, we have received abundant life,  hope, and the assurance of eternity. This new life is not meant to be lived quietly or cautiously. It is meant to be lived boldly.

So let us not shrink back. Let us not be ashamed. Let us proclaim the Gospel with joy, live in the fullness of our identity, and let our light shine because what Christ has done is too good to keep to ourselves.

Be encouraged and let your light shine !
