🔥 “Pile of Stones” — This Weekend!

We are just days away from Pile of Stones: A Revival & Discipleship Intensive, happening this Friday and Saturday, August 29–30 at Temple of Praise Church in Miamisburg, Ohio.

This is the first time we’ve hosted an event like this, and we are praying for a powerful turnout. The focus of the weekend is prayer—gathering together as living sacrifices, just as the believers did in the Upper Room, crying out for God to answer by fire.

Episode 113 of Voices of Revival may be one of the most powerful conversations we’ve ever hosted. Pastor Darrell Bucher of Lima First joined us to share the story of what God is doing at Lima First—and the numbers alone stop you in your tracks. Over the last five years, more than 5,000 people have said YES to Jesus at Lima First. Just this year alone, over 1,400 souls have surrendered to Christ. Week after week, entire families are encountering God, young people are laying down witchcraft, and the lost are being restored. This isn’t hype, this is the fruit of revival.

But beyond the staggering numbers, Pastor Bucher pulled back the curtain on the heartbeat behind it all—fasting, prayer, and giving the Holy Spirit full reign. He shared stories of healings, deliverances, the gifts of the Spirit flowing, and the culture of hunger that is sustaining the move. Last week our Tuesday Night Discipleship group took a short pause, but we’ll be gathering again this week. Together we’ll dive into the book of Joel and explore Peter’s powerful sermon in Acts 2.

A look ahead at September

In the month of September we have two huge upcoming projects. The Romans Intensive and also the Base Camp Intensive

Romans Intensive

Last week we shared a preview of the Romans Intensive—a month-long series running through September where every VOR episode will center on the book of Romans. Alongside the episodes, we’ll be hosting a public Scripture challenge, seven panel discussions (each with six seats), and a special end-of-the-month event stream.

The project is nearly finalized. Out of 42 panel seats, 41 have already been confirmed, and the final spot should be secured within the next week. Once all seats are filled, we’ll release a public announcement. Below is the list of confirmed panel guests so far.

Base Camp Intensive

We are excited to share that on September 26–27, Voices of Revival will be hosting a special event at Base Camp in Wilmington, Ohio—the same campgrounds that host Southern Ohio Youth Camp. More details will be coming in our next newsletter, but here’s a first look:

Guests will have the option to stay on-site for the weekend. The gathering begins Friday night with a powerful service followed by a late-night prayer meeting. Saturday will open in prayer and continue with sessions throughout the day, concluding with a 7 PM service. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided on Saturday for all guests.

The theme of the weekend is The Holy Spirit. Together, we will wrestle with who He is, explore His role in our lives, and unpack the gifts of the Spirit. We are honored to welcome a dynamic lineup of speakers: Keenan Snider, Ryan Young, Russ Bray, and Bradley Higgins.

The cost to attend is $75, which includes meals and lodging. We understand that placing a cost on an event like this can feel like a barrier, but to be transparent—hosting large-scale gatherings requires significant resources, and support is often thin. A strong turnout for this weekend could fund much of our work for the coming year. As always, all finances are overseen by our nonprofit board with full accountability.
