Pray Bold Prayers

🎙 Episode 161 – Stan Piddubnyy
Preparation > Platform
This past week we were joined by Stan Piddubnyy, a 21-year-old youth leader from Slavic Christian Center in Washington State who oversees young adults across 36 churches. Though young in age, Stan carries remarkable depth, humility, and wisdom beyond his years.
The conversation centered on timing, obedience, and surrender. Stan unpacked the difference between being a “king in a week” like Saul and a “king over 22 years” like David. Preparation, squeezing, hidden faithfulness — these are the things that shape a man or woman of God. Not spotlight. Not speed.
One of the most powerful themes of the night was the importance of serving locally and faithfully before seeking anything larger. Stan emphasized that leadership begins with picking up a vacuum, stacking chairs, counseling quietly, and loving the one sitting alone. The platform means nothing if the altar isn’t built first.
The conversation closed with a reminder that Christianity is not self-promotion — it is surrender. It is dying to self so Christ may live through us.
🧠Takeaway:
God builds character in the hallway before He opens the next door. Stay faithful in the unseen.
🔥 Quotes from Episode 161:
“Until God opens the next door, praise Him in the hallway.”
“The journey creates appreciation.”
“It’s not about the events — it’s about falling more in love with Jesus.”

🎙 Episode 162 – Jesse Bush, Jeff Koger & Anthony Rhodus
It’s Not Self-Help — It’s Death to Self
Episode 162 was raw, real, and powerful. We sat down with the leadership of HHC and Wild Ones Ministry as they shared testimony after testimony of radical transformation happening in their community.
Addicts being set free. Families restored. Over 100 individuals connected to treatment since April. A former biker bar turned into a revival hub. Recovery turned into disciple-making. The Holy Spirit doing what programs never could.
But what stood out most was this:
This isn’t self-help. It’s surrender.
The gospel is not about improving your life. It’s about dying to your old one. As Paul wrote, “I am crucified with Christ.” The old man dies so the Spirit can live. These ministries are not built on branding, ego, or spotlight — they are built on humility, unity, and love.
One mind. One accord. One Jesus.
🧠Takeaway:
Real life change doesn’t come from self-help — it comes from death to self and surrender to the Holy Spirit.
🔥 Quotes from Episode 162:
“The gospel is not self-help. It is a call to die.”
“We must decrease so that He can increase.”
“If your ministry is in the right place with God, the Holy Spirit will convict — you don’t have to condemn.”

🔎 Looking Ahead — TONIGHT
Tonight we are doing something we have never done before.
We will be joined by Matt Wilson, David Coffey, and David Pinter — three of the sharpest scriptural minds I know — for a theological discussion.
A local church’s statement of faith was recently brought to my attention. From what is written, this church would likely be labeled cessationist — meaning they believe the gifts of the Spirit are no longer active today.
What makes this unique is that this church does not avoid the subject. They clearly articulate why they hold their position.
Tonight we will:
Walk through the specific section of the statement of faith
Discuss the theology behind it
Evaluate Scripture together
This will not be about a church name.
This will not be about leadership personalities.
No one from that community likely even knows Voices of Revival exists.
This is purely a theological discussion.
In an effort to remain above reproach, I have respectfully and transparently notified leadership that this conversation is taking place.
And let me say this clearly:
That church is doing incredible work in their city. They are touching lives in ways few communities are. We may differ in theology, but we are praying for God’s continued blessing over them.
Tonight is simply iron sharpening iron.
If you are interested, here is a screenshot of the section of the statement of faith we will be walking through.

🔥 February Rally + 30 Day New Testament Shred
This Friday is our February Rally.
At the rally we will be announcing a project launching Saturday:
đź“– 30 Days Through the New Testament
As a community, we will read the entire New Testament in 30 days.
And then we’re doing it again.
And then again.
Three consecutive 30-day New Testament “shreds.”
The completion of all three cycles will align directly with Riverfront Revival.
If we are going to cry out for revival, we must be rooted in the Word. Such a project is probably of no interest to some. Rewinding time to January of 2024, we started the year with a 90 days through the bible reading plan as a community. That was one of the most successful projects we have ever done. We are excited to revisit a similar project.
đź“… March Schedule
We will send out a midweek newsletter announcing the full March schedule.
Spoiler alert:
There may be 12 casts in March.
Yes… we said we were dialing back to one per week this year.
That didn’t happen.
Things spiraled. In the best way.
God is moving. And it’s going to be a very, very fun month.
Stay faithful in the unseen.
Die daily.
Pray bold prayers.
