A look at the first two years of Voices of Revival

Over the last two years, Voices of Revival has become more than just a podcast — it has been a tool in the hand of God to build unprecedented unity in the Body of Christ. What began with a simple yes and a handful of early episodes has now grown into 101 episodes featuring 68 different guests — each one a leader whose heart burns for Kingdom unity.

From the very first conversations, many guests and friends who came alongside this vision have remained cornerstones for everything we’ve done since. This has never been the yes of one person alone — it’s been a collective yes from pastors, evangelists, intercessors, worship leaders, missionaries, and hungry believers who want to see the church united under one name: Jesus.

Through that collective yes, God has done incredible things. The NKountr Youth Rallies were birthed — two gatherings in 2024 alone: one in August, another on New Year’s Eve, with more to come this year. Out of the same heartbeat, the Riverfront Revival came to life. Over that weekend, 22 ministries stood shoulder to shoulder under the same banner. The city of Miamisburg witnessed over 8,500 people attend throughout the weekend. We’ve heard stories of salvations, fresh baptisms in the Holy Spirit, and even healing testimonies — including a report of cancer healed in the days following the event. All glory to God — Jesus threw the spear at the Gates of Hell; we just said yes.

If I can be honest for a moment — when this began, I didn’t fully believe it was valid. I didn’t see what it could become. In my own heart, I treated it like something to do until I got the real chance to do something. In many ways, I never felt like this was a thing that mattered. But looking back, maybe that’s the very reason God didn’t give me the things I desired. If He had, I wouldn’t have stewarded this. And what He’s done with Voices of Revival has been far more than I could have asked for.

The greatest lesson I’ve learned in these two years is this: steward what is in your hands like it’s everything. If I had sat around waiting for the dream in my head, nothing would have happened. But in God’s hands, small seeds grow into Kingdom harvest.

I repent for every time my heart didn’t value what God was building here. He had a plan all along — and even when I couldn’t see it, He was weaving something beautiful.

Every morning at 5AM through July, a new episode of I Never Knew You drops on YouTube — a 31-day intensive teaching series all about prayer. This series was born from a clear word from the Lord: “Build me an altar of prayer.” Over these 31 days, we’re digging deep to rediscover what prayer really is — not a side note or routine, but the very heart of our walk with God.

Join us daily as we wrestle with what it means to live with prayer at the center — just like Jesus did — and build a life that He truly knows.

The Future of the Podcast, Newsletter and Ministry

Over the last season, I have wrestled intensely with what comes next. I’ve considered every option — from closing up shop entirely to pivoting in a number of different directions. We’ve taken time, sought counsel, and spent countless hours in prayer. Through that counsel and prayer, we now have a path forward — clear in direction, even if still uncertain in detail.

One big step has been securing our official status as a non-profit organization. This is something we talked about a long time ago but kept putting off, partly because it’s expensive and we’ve had no consistent financial backing for what we do. Up to this point, it always felt better to spend what funds we had directly on the ministry itself. But after the Riverfront Revival — which carried expenses of nearly $5,000 — it became clear that if we want to keep stewarding projects like this well, securing non-profit status is no longer optional.

Now that we have it, a board made up of trusted leaders from four different churches provides spiritual and practical oversight for every step we take. On top of this, the doors God has opened for us remain open — and new doors continue to open as we go.

Looking ahead, we’re setting our sights on big goals. For the podcast, our aim is to reach 300 episodes by our 5-year mark. This newsletter will serve as basecamp for all our efforts — a place to share updates, stories, and opportunities to partner together.

One thing I’m especially excited about is using this newsletter to highlight the voices of others we’re linked with. In the weeks ahead, you’ll see a regular segment from Keenan Snider — one of our board members — sharing what God is speaking to his heart. We’ll also use this space to empower and amplify many other voices as we move forward together.

Another major piece launching this month is a new discipleship group. Next Tuesday night, around twenty young men will gather at 9 PM over zoom for the first session. This group will meet weekly every Tuesday night, starting with a verse-by-verse journey through the book of Acts. Our vision is clear: to cultivate the next generation of leaders with a dream to launch 1,000 next-generation apostles who will radically transform the earth into the Kingdom of Heaven as we await the return of Christ. Pray with us as we take this step to pour into the ones who will carry revival forward.
