Tonight is NKountr! šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„

NKountr Tonight — Join Us in Prayer

Tonight we are partnering with the Kingdom Sports Center to host another NKountr regional youth rally. Churches and communities from across the region will be present for the evening.

The night will include a regional youth service followed by sports and games, but the most important moment of the night will be the altar call.

The truth is that the service, the games, and the fun activities are all simply mechanisms to bring unreached students to the feet of Jesus.

Are we organizing a regional youth service?

No.

We are organizing an opportunity for the unreached to encounter Jesus.

Everything tonight ultimately builds toward that moment of encounter.

This is the fourth time we have had the opportunity to partner with the Kingdom Sports Center for an NKountr rally. At each of the previous gatherings we have seen at least 10 students surrender their lives to Jesus.

Looking back at those events, however, there is something that has been on my heart.

We had no real plan going in for how to approach this high-fruit moment, and more dangerously, we had no clear plan for follow-up. When there is no plan during the altar moment and no plan afterward, it creates space for things to slip through the cracks.

And that is something we want to steward better moving forward.

That said, it is also important to acknowledge that fruit has come from these nights. In fact, the youth ministry I serve with has students who are part of our community today because their yes to Jesus happened at one of these NKountr events.

Tonight we want to be intentional about stewarding the moment.

How You Can Partner With Us

We are asking the Voices of Revival community to cover this event in prayer throughout the day.

And if you are local to the area and planning to attend, we would also love to invite you to partner with us as an altar worker.

The most important thing we will do tonight is pray with students responding to Jesus.

Prayer Points for Today

Please join us in praying for the following:

• The service will be spearheaded by three young men from multiple churches: Jaden, Collin, and Ian. Please keep them in prayer as they lead tonight.

• The speaker for the evening will be Elijah Beers, who is coming in from Kentucky. Pray for boldness, clarity, and the anointing of the Holy Spirit as he shares.

• Pray for the worship team and everyone serving during the service.

• Pray for every student who will be present tonight.

• Come against the attacks of the enemy, false identity, and deception. Declare freedom and truth in Jesus over the students attending.

• Pray for encounters with Jesus that radically transform lives.

For Those Serving at the Altar

If you are attending tonight and willing to help, here are a few quick notes on how we will steward the altar moment.

Before the Service

The service is slated to begin at 7 PM.

If you arrive early and would like to help as an altar worker, please meet me at 6:55 PM on the court where the worship team will be set up. We will take a few minutes to connect and pray together before the service begins.

During the Altar Call

When Elijah begins the altar call, altar workers will step forward and position themselves along the sides of the gathering space so we can observe the response of the students.

Elijah will make two invitations during the altar moment:

• A call for students to respond to the message
• A call for students who do not know Jesus to surrender their lives to Him

The goal during this moment is simple:

Pray with students.

This is the entire reason we are doing this.

We want 100% of the students who respond to the salvation call to have a leader praying with them.

If the response is larger than our team, we will help direct others in the room to step in and pray so that no one is left behind.

After the Altar

What happens after the altar moment is just as important.

Take time to follow up with students who said yes to Jesus. Listen to their story, encourage them, and speak the heart of God over them.

We also want to help connect them to local youth communities. Because many churches will be present, we want to be intentional about honoring that unity.

This night is not about building our ministries.

We are building God's Kingdom together.

And one final reminder: unity events like this often bring together leaders and friends from many communities. Before reconnecting with friends, take time to intentionally follow up with students who responded to Jesus.

If we are faithful to do two things well tonight —

• Ensure no student is left alone during the altar moment
• Intentionally follow up with students afterward

— then we greatly increase the likelihood that what happens tonight becomes lasting fruit rather than just a moment.

Please keep NKountr in prayer today.

And if you are in the area tonight, we would love to see you there.

Let's believe together for students encountering Jesus and lives being changed. šŸ™
